Need Assessment conducted by Base Foundation in Schools of Paikur Village.
As part of the Base Foundation Village Empowerment Programme, we conducted some activities in various villages of West Bengal State. The main motive of the programme was to discuss the problems faced by the students and schools in rural areas. For this, we consulted various schools in Paikur Village.
We conducted a need assessment with school authorities, teachers, students and their parents. We selected Bhimpur JB Bidyalay, Lambapara Primary School, Darul Fouz Educational Centre, Amdole Village and Kashimdanga Village for the same. The main problem highlighted by the authorities was the lack of teachers for the students.
